水是生活當中不可或缺的重要資源，臺灣並非無雨無水，水患與水荒卻頻繁發生，顯示臺灣的水資源管理與利用出現問題。臺灣於110年發生大規模缺水危機，久旱不雨，水庫乾涸，各地區進行多項限水、減壓供水、停耕、歇業等措施，影響生活長達數月。本研究目的為探討南投縣中高齡者節約用水之行為及其影響因素。以計畫行為理論為架構，知覺水價為調節變數，運用問卷調查法對南投縣45歲以上中高齡者進行研究分析，總計回收405份問卷。研究結果顯示，中高齡者對於節約用水的態度、主觀規範、知覺行為控制、環保意識、行為意向及具體行為皆為正向肯定。在不同受試者背景變項對各構面的差異分析方面，除行為構面之外，女性在其他構面的認同度皆明

顯高於男性；在態度、主觀規範、知覺行為控制、環保意識等構面，年齡層愈低則認同程度愈高，教育程度愈高則認同度愈高。另外，以階層迴歸分析水價之調節效果，主觀規範對行為意向的影響，會因水價高低有所變化。根據多元迴歸分析結果顯示，影響中高齡者節約用水行為意向最高者為「環保意識」，顯示中高齡者節約用水的行為意向受個人環保意識影響最大，而節約用水行為意向對節約用水的行為具有顯著影響。未來氣候不斷變遷，水資源利用等相關研究須與時俱進，本研究結果能做為未來水資源管理之規劃參考。
