近年來，在經濟快速增長帶來巨大物質財富的同時，社會和環境問題也日益突出。化工產業作為中國的支柱產業，憑藉其技術創新及巨大潛力，為國民經濟發展起到了至關重要的作用。與此同時，企業社會責任也成為化工產業發展過程中不可忽視的重要議題。本研究採用了多元線性回歸模型，用來探討企業社會責任與財務績效之間的關係。本研究將股利分配率、資產負債率、債務保障率、應付賬款周轉率、營業收入增長率、營業稅金率、實際所得稅率、員工獲利水準、女性管理者比率、社會捐贈與精准扶貧率作為企業社會責任變數的主要指標，從而來衡量企業社會責任對財務績效的影響。研究結果發現，就化工企業而言，企業社會責任對財務績效可產生較為顯著的影響，

但隨時間延長，企業社會責任對財務績效的影響顯著性會逐漸減弱，可表明企業社會責任對於財務績效具有積極的推動作用，藉此可鼓勵中國化工業積極承擔企業社會責任，提高其財務績效，為企業永續發展帶來競爭優勢。
